Salesboom's Instant Messages system is built for speed and simplicity. Access the User List, check availability, send messages, browse archives, and search conversations — all from one interface inside your CRM.

Click the Send Message link to the right of any user's name under Messenger Options. An Instant Messages dialog box will pop up. Type your message (up to 255 characters) and click Send — the dialog closes automatically once sent.
  • Open via the Messages button above the Salesboom tabs
  • Choose your recipient from the User List page
  • Type your message in the Message text box (255-character limit)
  • Click Send — dialog closes automatically on success

Click the Archive link to the right of any user's name to open the Message Archives page, displaying all Instant Messages exchanged between you and that user.

User List Search Form

A Search Instant Message Archives form is available directly from the User List page. Searching from this form scans your entire organization's Salesboom message archive — all users, all conversations.

Per-User Archive Search

Click the Archive link next to a specific user's name to open a page showing only messages exchanged with that individual. The search form on this page defaults to that user's messages only.

Search Entire Archive Toggle

On the per-user archive page, check the Search Entire Archive checkbox to expand the search scope to your full organization. Uncheck it to narrow results back to messages with that specific user only.

Sent and Received Results

Search results include messages both sent to you and sent by you to others. No conversation is excluded from search — giving you complete visibility into your full messaging history within Salesboom.

Send from the Archive Page

From the Message Archives page for any user, click the Send Message button to send a new instant message to that person directly. No need to navigate back to the User List — message and archive access in one place.

Return to User List

From any Message Archives page, click the View User List button to return to the full list of team members — making it easy to switch between reviewing one user's archive and accessing the full team messaging hub.

Click the Messages button located at the top of the page, above the row of Salesboom.com tabs. This takes you to the User List page, where you can view all users, check their login status, and send messages.

Yes. Each instant message has a 255-character limit. This encourages brief, focused communication. For longer discussions, it is recommended to follow up with an email or schedule a call.

Yes. All messages sent through Salesboom's Instant Messages system are automatically archived. You can access the archive by clicking the Archive link next to any user's name on the User List page.
