The new feature, which was included in Salesboom's recent release of Salesboom.com Version 4.0, is touted by the company to be the biggest addition to its online web based CRM software / web-based SFA services yet. The new Billing management & Invoice management Automation feature will include tools to automate essential invoice functionality such as generating the invoice from the customer account information, keeping track of recurring billing cycles and terms, fully linking into the Salesboom Product Database, and even an automated system to send invoices to customers electronically.

The new feature, which is purported to replace traditional invoicing software, is available in Salesboom's low-cost On Demand hosted CRM software deployment model, making it accessible and affordable for Small business to utilize in conjunction with the traditional Salesboom.com On demand hosted CRM software / Web-based SFA Software services. There is also the option of sending the invoice automatically via electronic mail, or generating a printable invoice to print and send a hard copy of. But best of all, the proper checks and balances are fully integrated, making Accountants' lives everywhere much easier. The invoicing system requires someone with proper permissions to "sign-off" on all pending invoices before they are sent out and activated in the Salesboom small business CRM infrastructure. Furthermore, all invoices (after being sent) are automatically archived in a 'read-only' format to preserve the legality of the electronic documents and avoid tampering.
